Basic Wellness Package Women and Men

Check-ups are not a preserve for the sick but are for those who feel healthy as well. Regular check-ups keep you and your doctor appraised of your health status. They allow for early identification of silent health abnormalities in a seemingly healthy adult, enabling one’s doctor to institute timely early treatment interventions with better health outcomes.

Our basic wellness check is recommended for adults of all ages. It assesses kidney health, liver function, screens for diabetes and any signs of urine infection and blood abnormalities. Last but not least, with the rising global cancer burden, our wellness check provides for screening and early detection of cancers that may arise from the large intestines and the prostate for men, and cervical cancer for women.

We are responsible for our own health and wellbeing. Regular exercise, a balanced diet, a healthy lifestyle, and health check-ups at periodic intervals* are all important for good health.

Note: *The time between wellness checks depends on factors such as one’s age, gender, risk factors for health problems, etc… although annual interval is generally advised, it is important to discuss with your doctor about the frequency of wellness check laboratory tests to best fit your individual health needs

Health Screen Testing Panel

Regular health checks up are the best way to tell how your body is performing against various diseases. Our package includes four common tests, Full Blood Count, Kidney function test, Glucose and Lipogram (Cholesterol, LDL, HDL, Triglyceride), which can help screen for conditions. These tests are often ordered as part of routine general health screening.

Health Check

We take a tiny sample of blood by way of a simple finger prick from each employee to measure the following:

  • Full Blood Count

This establishes the number, and size of red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets (which play a major part in blood clotting) you have circulating in your system.if the full blood count indicates that a certain blood cell is abnormally high or low, this may indicate infection, anaemia, or other more serious diseases.

  • Kidney function test

This assesses your glomerular filtration rate (GFR) and tells how quickly your kidneys are clearing waste from your body.

  • Urea

Measures the amount of urea that is in your blood.

  • Creatinine

Is a chemical waste product that is produced by muscle metabolism and by eating meat.

  • Glucose

This is often the first test done to check for
diabetes. Glucose comes from carbohydrate foods and is the main source of energy used by the body.

  • Lipogram (Cholesterol, LDL, HDL, Triglyceride)

This measures the total cholesterol, lipid carrying proteins and triglycerides in the blood. Often used to screen for the risk of developing heart disease.
